US NATIONAL AMATEUR DANCESPORT CHAMPIONSHIPS

The NDCA is pleased to announce that those adult amateur couples finishing 1st and 2nd in the U.S. National Amateur Championships in Provo will receive scholarships to assist then in their travel to the 2012 World Dance Council World Amateur Championships in Paris France. This applies to the Ballroom, Latin, and Ten Dance Championships.
A Ten Dance Championship has been added to this competition based upon the results of the Amateur Latin and Ballroom.

AMATEUR BALLROOM (per couple)
1st - $600.00 - plus $1,000.00 scholarship from the NDCA if you attend the WDC World Amateur Championship in Paris, France
2nd - $500.00 - plus $1,000.00 scholarship from the NDCA if you attend the WDC World Amateur Championship in Paris, France
3rd - $400.00
4th - $300.00
5th - $200.00
6th - $100.00
AMATEUR LATIN (per couple)
1st - $600.00 - plus $1,000.00 scholarship from the NDCA if you attend the WDC World Amateur Championship in Paris, France
2nd - $500.00 - plus $1,000.00 scholarship from the NDCA if you attend the WDC World Amateur Championship in Paris, France
3rd - $400.00
4th - $300.00
5th - $200.00

AMATEUR TEN DANCE (per couple)
The results of this championship will be determined by applying NDCA rule III.B.35.a. This rule states: "In the event that a Ten-Dance result is determined as part of two separate events where some couples are not doing all ten dances, the couples doing only one style will be removed from the final placements in each style and the placements for the ten-Dance couples shall be determined with respect to each other."
